Hi, I’m Leigh-Anne, a professional writer, marketer, and brand strategist.
I’m a creative and passionate public relations professional who has been working in the marketing and communications field for the last 15 years. What does that mean exactly? It means I’ve worn many hats and have mastered the art of building a wagon while it’s rolling down a hill.
From Web development and social media management to writing, copy editing, graphic design, and photography, I’ve done just about everything that falls under the PR/marketing umbrella. Along the way, I found my passion: helping others succeed in achieving their dreams. I’ve worked with small businesses and startups, nonprofits, and independent professionals looking to make their marks on the world. My last 10 years have been spent in higher education where I’ve managed award-winning creative teams, built dynamic multimedia marketing campaigns, and established new and innovative ways to engage both current and prospective students. Learn more about what I do by visiting the skills section below or checking out My Portfolio.

What I Do
Whether it’s a brochure, a marketing campaign, a feature article, or content for social media and the Web, I strive to bring passion, creativity, and enthusiasm to everything I do. I’m a firm believer that there’s always a story to be found: You just have to draw it out and make it shine.
I specialize in brand strategy including brand launch and brand identity (including those pesky brand management and writing style guides).
I know how to get the word out about your business, school, or program. I love creating multimedia, omnichannel marketing campaigns.
Need help building relationships between your brand and the public? Say no more. I’ve been working with colleges, small businesses, nonprofits, and independent professionals since 2002.
If you can dream it up, I can help you write about it.
From press releases and feature stories to advertisements and promotional materials–even a technical manual or two.
Chicago, AP, you name it–I can copy-edit to any style you need. And before you ask, yes, I am a defender of the Oxford Comma. I won’t hold it against you if you decide not to use it though.
I’ve been using social media professionally since 2007. I can help you get started on a platform or teach you how to take your social media to the next level including crafting policies and guidelines for your organization.
